It’s holiday time, and like many of us, I will
be going to be going to visit none other than my
very own MIL! I have to say, that she has been a
very, very loving and supportive MIL since our big
blowout last year after she read The DIL Rules.
(As many of you know, I wasn’t welcome at
Christmas ’08). What a difference a year makes!
Well, we have come full circle. I honestly think
that appearing on Fox news and Rachel Ray was what
made her proud of me ultimately. LOL!

But in all seriousness, What surprised me the
most, was that when I started writing the book I
was bordering on frustration, anger, and
resentfulness. When I came out the other side I
was filled with compassion, patience and empathy.

And, well, this is kind of cool... below is a pic
of the iApp that’s being developed for the DIL
Rules. Kind of fun, I’d say! Life is filled with
so many unexpected blessings. You just have to be
patient sometimes to wait for the tree to bear
fruit. So, if I may impart a little loving holiday
advice: Never give up on your dreams. You don't
have to know the how, but focus on the why. Don't
set limits and reach for the sky. Do positive
affirmations morning and evening, and you will see
your thoughts transform into things. You can
manifest your desires by focusing on the things
that you want. And remember, don't give up because
it takes a while for the universe to prepare the
meal that you've ordered, but know that it is in
the oven back there so make sure you don't leave
the restaurant!
